Soul Searching Series Episode 2 :: Alma DDB

In January 2010, Haiti was hit by a 7.0 magnitude earthquake. Many countries pledged funds and sent resources to help rebuild the damaged zones, but, 6 years later, there’s still a lot of rebuilding to be done. “Mixtures from two Haitis” is a project that visually unites Haiti with Miami’s Little Haiti to help bring awareness to all the locations that still need rebuilding.

This social initiative let people use their creative tools and skills to help bring awareness to all of the different locations that need to be rebuilt, starting with the Insitution Mixte la Perle de L’ille in Ouest, Haiti. To make a picture composite was as easy as scrolling through the list of images, choosing two pictures, creating a composition and uploading it to the virtual gallery where art was sold in exchange for donations.
